La Bottega del Tartufo was born in 2014 on the initiative of the brothers Filippo and Luca Fumanti and their father Giuseppe.
Grown in the restaurant environment, Luca and Filippo decided to share their passion for one of the most noble and precious ingredients of Italian cuisine: truffles.
His father Giuseppe has been dedicated to researching and collecting truffles for 30 years; the father's experience made the children of the truffle fall in love.
Supported by Giuliano Martinelli, founder of Giuliano Tartufi and a longtime friend, the Fumantis open the first store dedicated to products with a base of truffles and fresh truffles.
The first La Bottega del tartufo opened was in Perugia, it was the beginning of a winning formula.
In a short time La Bottega del Tartufo goes beyond Umbria, opening in Siena, Arezzo and Lucca.
The network then expanded: here were inaugurated stores in Ferrara, Pisa, Genoa, Bergamo, Como, Venice with 2 stores, Jesolo, Matera and Lecce.
